AST was tasked to implement a comprehensive smart IoT toilet management system (> 3,100 IoT sensors) at Punggol Digital District (Retail and Offices), Singapore’s first urban smart grid and a living lab for real-world technology testing and automation.
The smart IoT toilet solution also features a unique smart IoT lighting solution built into the mall’s walkway signage panel. It is designed to synchronise smart IoT commands with the cleaners’ toilet management tasks using a customised QR code system.
AST was tasked to provide a turnkey smart IoT toilet management solution at CapitaSpring. A total of 9 high-powered LoRaWAN gateways and 662 smart IoT toilet sensors were installed in the office building.
AST was tasked to deployed a comprehensive smart IoT toilet solution at CDL’s City Square Mall (CSM).
~ 500 smart IoT toilet sensors were installed at CSM male/female/h’cap toilets to actively monitor and achieve the desirable toilet conditions at CSM.
An average of 200,000 users visited CSM toilets (monthly) during the pandemic period.
By adopting the AST advanced dynamic cleaning algorithm (powered by ML/AI), the IoT system proactively identifies optimal times for cleaners to attend to and improve toilet conditions, with alerts sent via the AST WhatsApp notification system.
AST was commissioned to deploy a Smart IoT Toilet Management Solution for CAG Airside toilets (10 sets).
Approx. 200 smart IoT sensory devices installed, inclusive of power distribution devices, etc. CAG wanted a comprehensive Airside toilet user (staff) study using IoT solutions in order to design/revamp a new Airside toilet (total – 36 sets).
AST was able to derive user toilet behavioral data for CAG management analysis and next steps.
Smart Toilet System for BCA Main Tower, SLEB, and ZEB – The three buildings have been installed with state-of-the-art LoRaWAN communication devices. Approximately 1,400 smart IoT sensory devices were installed, inclusive of power distribution devices.

AST was commissioned by Art House Limited to deliver its requirement of > 95% accuracy in footfall count at AHL various art centers in Singapore.
AST SMART IoT human traffic count system were installed at various entrances of Victoria Theatre, The Art House, Stamfort Arts Centre, Goodman Art Centre and Aliwal Arts Centre.
HubSpot, an AI-powered customer platform developer partnered with AST to develop a smart MEP IoT solution.
Electrical issue – Hubspot management wanted to monitor and be notified for any uncontrolled office electrical DBs trips which could disrupt their office operations (e.g. server room). AST developed a smart IoT power outage feedback system for the client.
Mechanical Issue – To prevent foul odours and potential mosquito breeding caused by under-basin wetness, the AST field team installed a smart IoT water detection solution.
KONE engaged AST to develop a Smart IoT Laser Monitoring solution for their lifts at MBS hotel. Mechanical issue – KONE wanted to track their lift ropes physical conditions regularly. They requested AST to developed a IoT system to monitor the lateral rope deflection.
AST was selected by Engie to install a comprehensive IoT sensory solution with customized use cases for the client’s review. The goal was to showcase a unique AI-driven IoT solution as a key selling point, integrating it into Engie’s core business offerings for its corporate clients.
