KONE – Smart IoT M&E Monitoring System

KONE partnered with AST to develop a Smart IoT Laser Monitoring solution for their lifts at MBS Hotel.

Mechanical issue – KONE wanted a system to regularly monitor the condition of their lift ropes. They requested AST to develop an IoT system to monitor the lateral rope deflection. AST developed its proprietary smart IoT laser monitoring system for KONE. For every lateral deflection in each lift rope, the laser system is able to track the lateral deflection frequency data. The data is displayed on a smart IoT dashboard as shown.
